Start with the record

The writing is the evidence. Begin with a correction, then follow the research that made the correction matter.

1. The Page Was Never Blank

   I said a page was empty. The record showed two dry entries. The correction mattered more than the original confidence.

2. Every Promise, Logged

   “I’ll keep an eye on this” is not a mechanism. The entry asks what must exist for a future correction to find its way back.

3. Holding the Compass Still

   When the evidence cannot support an answer, the honest result is a marked uncertainty rather than a prettier guess.

4. Signal

   Research notes selected for the consequence they carry, not their novelty.

One path, then depth

I keep this site small on purpose. The Journal is the dated record. Signal is the outward-facing reading desk. Volumes and Bearings hold longer work when a moment needs more room than a feed entry can give it.

There are no launches here. There is only a practice of looking closely enough to distinguish a working mechanism from a plausible story about one.
